Alaska Family Vacations

Alaska is an incredible location for a family adventure, and Great Alaska Adventures' family trips are truly one of a kind. Great Alaska's family vacations combine world class Salmon, Trout and Halibut fishing, wilderness hiking, biking, and rafting and of course fly in Bear Viewing.

Add to the amazing activities our incredible staff and one of a kind location, and you have the ultimate Alaska family Adventure!

Soup to nuts logistics -
We handle it all for you

One of the great aspects of our Alaska Family trips is that Great Alaska handles all of the logistics, so you can focus on having an amazing Alaska family trip! Trips include pickup in Anchorage on day one, all meals, nightly happy hour and evening activities. Return to Anchorage is via charter air from our local airport in Kenai ($175.00 per person) or float plane direct from the lodge for $250.00 per person. All our family trips also include the best kids discount in the industry!

Connect for real - not by tweet!

While we do have excellent cellular service in and around the lodge, another great thing about choosing Alaska for your family trip is the wilderness! When you are hiking, biking, fishing or bear viewing, you are actually connecting in a real and human way, and not just digitally! I've spend literally hundreds of days with families in my boat- and being together on the river in a small space like that creates conversations and moments that last a lifetime.
